The raw material for this project is Galena. Galena is available In many parts of Cambodia. Reserves Estimated at 30 million tons.
Galena can be mined by open cast and underground mining. Mined ore usually contains lead ranging from 10 to 60% .
Lead Ore occurs in natural state as lead sulphide. Apart from lead sulphide, the ore contains zinc, copper, tin, antimony, silver etc.
The characteristic of ore varies from mine to mine.
Legal mining permission is required, followed by environmental and waste disposal commitment. The mine should also be certified CNC (clean and clear) issued by government. CNC certificate is a must to ensure export of finished product.
